Privacy Policy
AskNagi helps users create, edit, analyse and manage Excel files with AI. This page explains how uploaded files, prompts, projects, account data and payments are handled.
We do not sell user data
We do not use uploaded files or prompts to intentionally build public datasets or sell user data.
Stripe handles card payments
AskNagi does not directly store full card details; payment data is handled by Stripe.
Upload files responsibly
Users should only upload spreadsheets they are authorised to process.
Data we collect
We may collect account data such as email, display name when available and authentication provider; project data such as project titles, prompts, chat messages and workbook instructions; uploaded files and spreadsheet metadata; generated outputs such as Excel files, summaries, dashboards, charts and reports; usage data such as AI actions, downloads, plan limits and timestamps; billing-related records such as subscription status, Stripe customer ID, subscription ID and plan; and technical data such as logs, errors and browser or device information where applicable.
How we use data
We use data to provide AskNagi, create, edit, analyse and export Excel files, maintain project history, manage accounts and subscriptions, enforce Free and Pro limits, improve reliability, security and performance, detect abuse, fraud or technical issues, and provide support when requested.
Uploaded Excel files
Uploaded files may contain business, financial or personal data. Users should only upload files they are authorised to process. AskNagi processes uploaded files to provide requested features, and generated outputs may be stored so users can continue working. Users should avoid uploading highly sensitive data unless it is necessary.
AI processing
Prompts, workbook content and metadata may be processed by AI systems to generate edits, explanations, formulas, summaries, dashboards or downloadable files. Depending on the configured infrastructure, third-party AI providers may process content only for service functionality. We do not use uploaded files or prompts to intentionally build public datasets or sell user data.
Third-party services
AskNagi may use trusted third-party services including Supabase for authentication, database and storage; Vercel for frontend hosting; Railway for backend hosting and processing; Stripe for payments and subscriptions; Google services for Google login or Google Sheets export/opening where used; Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse protection on sign-in (see Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Notice at https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstileprivacypolicy/); and AI providers for processing prompts and workbook content.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. AskNagi does not directly store full card details. We may store subscription status, customer IDs, subscription IDs and plan information in our database. Stripe may process payment, billing and tax-related data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Data retention
Projects, prompts, uploaded file references and generated outputs may be stored while the account is active. Some logs or usage events may be retained for security, billing and abuse prevention. Users may request deletion of account data, while some billing or legal records may need to be retained where required by law.
User rights
Where applicable, users may request access to their data, correction, deletion, export or portability, restriction or objection, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. Users can contact AskNagi to exercise these rights.
Security
We use authenticated accounts, access controls, secure third-party infrastructure and restricted access where possible. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and users should protect their account credentials.
International data transfers
Data may be processed by infrastructure providers located in different countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards should be used.
Children
AskNagi is not intended for children under the minimum legal age required to use online services in their country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes should be communicated where appropriate.
